As the Medical Director of Rule800.com our mission is to provide services which will help you become compliant and remain compliant with Rule 800. Here’s what it takes.
Services Offered
Step One: Become compliant.
This process involves ensuring that the facility meets basic safety standards, that all procedures requiring delegation by the supervising physician have appropriate written standard operating procedures, emergency procedures and consent forms in place.
Jen Fisher takes care of Step One. She makes an on-site inspection and provides suggestions to ensure compliance. If standard operating procedures, emergency procedures or consent forms are needed, Jen will help you create them. She has a reference library of forms reviewed by the attorneys who wrote Rule 800 that in many times can be quickly customized for your use.
Step Two: Meet with Medical Director Steve Zakany or a Medical Director closer to your facility who will observe all staff technicians perform each and every procedure that Rule 800 requires.
During that visit, the Medical Director will sign the BOARD RULE 800, APPENDIX A with each of the technicians that are delegated to perform the procedures observed. (This form can be found at the end of Rule 800.) The Medical Director will also make sure that the suggestions to ensure compliance during the initial site visit conducted by Jen have been implemented.
Step Three: Ongoing compliance services.
On-site visits to your facility by a Medical Director are conducted a minimum of every two weeks to sign-off on charts and oversee other requirements as deemed appropriate.
